Welcome 100 Blocks Blog Tourists

We are so excited to once again have our blocks in Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 8.  The newest issue of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks hits the newsstands on November 19th.

Inside this issue you can find my Dancing Flower block.

And my sister Joanne’s Snowflake Snowman block.

Now that you’ve seen our blocks how about a few setting ideas.

Simply set four Dancing Flower blocks by alternating the blocks position with a double border to make a quick topper.

Or you could set four Dancing Flowers blocks on-point with double nine patch blocks for a little fancier topper.

Looking to make a larger quilt? How about making twenty Dancing Flower blocks again alternating the blocks position and add a double border.

How about making three Snowflake Snowman blocks and add another checkerboard strip to the end for a fun runner.

Make four Snowflake Snowman blocks and set them on-point with chain blocks for a winter topper.

So how will you set your blocks?  We would love to hear about your ideas.
